Today I took my Adderall as usual. I found, however, that it was much more effective than usual. Then I remembered reading somewhere that ADs can interfere with the effects of stims. I had forgotten to take my Paxil and Welbutrin today. The effects of Adderall have stayed with me all day. I expected the usual ups followed by downs, but that didn't occur today. Do I remember correctly about ADs blunting stims, or is this some other phenomena? I'm very pleased with the results I got today when omitting the ADs. Did I dream this?

Hi:
It sounds to me like Adderall is TOO much activating on your system.
If I were you, I call to the pdoc. as to the current situation. Because, normally any 'stimulants' causing Bp(whether Bp I or Bp II) 'manic' or 'hypomanic(for Bp II) that is often mistaken 'feeling better,' even 'no need of AD.'
