HELP! I began to take seroquel at a tiny dose for insomnia and the akathesia is OVERWHELMING. I've decided to stop the Seroquel completely (was on it a week. Will the akathesia go away after I get off it or am I stuck with it for a long time!?

I think you'll be OK. Take some deep breaths... Seroquel is a lot safer than the older AP's and you've just had a tiny exposure.

I know these are safer than typical antipsychotics, I don't think this is permanent, but very uncomfortable.
