Does it make you gain weight like the other anti-depressants? Does it help with depression? Seems like I've tried several and not many have worked. I still spend all my free time sleeping.

Its great for my depression. It can make you a little tired and put on weight. But if you manage the weight, it realy isnt a problem. I take wellbutrin with celexa and zyprexa, the wellbutrin wakes me up, also helps with weight. Normaly the celexa tiredness goes away after the first month of dose increase.

I'm on effexor 300 and celexa 20 and I haven't gained or lost anything ... my pdoc gave me the celexa as a second anti-depressant because I specifically told her that if the stuff made me gain weight, I'd stop taking it.
I don't have a weight problem but I sure as heck don't want to end up with one because of my meds.
