i have been in bed for 4 days now.i wont eat or go anywhere. i have been on prozac 20 mg for 5 weeks.I just started taking 40mg of prozac a couple of days ago and take klonopin .5mg when needed.last night i took remeron 30mg for the first time.I took it late last night and woke up about 2pm.ate some cereal and went back to bed.Its 7pm and i am still in bed.When will i be able to function again?

Dear Lexman. I don't have any answers for you. I just wanted you to know that I read your post and my heart goes out to you. Maybe you need to take a stimulant until you can get an antidepressant to start working.
I'm thinking about you and I hope you start to see some sign of improvement. Try to do one thing every day. As hard as that is. Take a shower. Change your clothes. Call someone. Please, just try.

When I started Remeron (30mgs) I was sleeping for days. Pdoc warned me to take it on a weekend or when I did not have to "do" anything. I was in bed for weeks. I kept with it becuz I felt it was my last hope. I was even taking a stimulant (Provigil) at the same time. Eventually the sedation got better but it took several weeks.
