I'm wondering if either a blood test or a urine test can show that someone is on an antidepressant (effexor)?
does anyone know?

Yes, but I am not sure if they have to be looking for it in the specimen or not. I don't know what the metabolites break down into and other variables. Sorry if my post is not much help. I am sure some one will be willing to give you an exact answer though!
