I've been taking 25mg for 2 weeks and have had common side effects but am not really taking it for any specific reason other than to see if it helps my anxiety. After already losing 4 pounds (don't need to lose any), looking pale and feeling like crap, I think I'm going to bail. Since I started with 25mg (smallest tablet) and have only been taking it 14 days, can I just stop? My doctor just said to "try it", and I'm sure it's a wonderful med if one is true bipolar or has migraines but all this for GAD seems like a crap shoot for all the sides that come with.

I was taking 400mg, and once I got down to 50mg I just stopped, with no ill effects at all, and I've read on this board of others who haved stopped without tapering at all. But still, just to be safe, you might want to take a dose every other day for a few days, then just stop. Good luck!
