I tried Zoloft (made me too numb), Effexor (too sleepy), and Lexapro (didn't help enough). Then pdoc added Wellbutrin (150mg then 300mg) to the Lexapro (10mg). I quit taking the Lexapro because I never really thought it did that much, other than cause sexual side effects. I didn't even notice any difference without the Lexapro. Then I ran out of Wellbutrin, mainly because I didn't like the pdoc I had. I was off about 2 weeks when I got a new rx (300mg xr) which I started 5 days ago. This pdoc also gave me Adderall (20mg xl) because I have been suffering with ADD symptoms my whole life, but never really understood that until my son was just diagnosed and started Ritalin. My questions are:
1. How long until my body adjusts to these meds and would I have been better off getting my body adjusted to the Wellbutrin again before starting both together? I get a little shaky late afternoon. Today, I took only the Wellbutrin and thought maybe I'd wait a week or so to continue the Adderall.
2. Would one of those drugs cause very intense orgasms? I haven't had an orgasm in 2 years due to all the SSRI's. The Lexapro has been out of my system for about a month now. I started taking the Wellbutrin/Adderal and have had the best orgasms I have ever had in my life!
I'm new to the site, but would really appreciate your input. I have read a lot of postings and know there are a lot of experienced and bright people out there.

Its safe to take Wellbtrin with Adderall, i take both of them daily. Wellbutrin does make you a bit jittery becasue it is a noradrenaline antidepressant- has stimulating properites. It also effects dopamine, but mainly the noradreanline is what causes the anxiety
Adderall does make them more intense, but it takes longer to achieve, its alot more stimulated. Usally the best, are moderate doses such as a single dose of 40 or 50mg. But if you are taking XR thats hard to do. Usally i crush my beads when i plan a special night, about 2 XR's. But thats up to you.
