Hey I was reading up somewhere that effexor does not create nearly as many problems with sexual dysfuntion as the regular ssri's? Anyone have some info on that? any research studies you know of ?
regards

>Hi JC,
Effexor gives me loss of libido & anorgasmia, Remeron fixes my anorgasmia problem. I doubt that Effexor would be any better or worse than SSRI's in this department.
Cheers,
Panda.

Effexor had the same sexual SEs as the SSRIs I've tried. I went to Wellbutrin.

Anorgasmia was a problem for me with dosages of Effexor XR higher than 150mg/day. My libido remained. Most SSRIs killed both at all dosages.
