Ok, what if a person took 2mg a day of clonazepam for 2 weeks, then cut down to 1mg/day for 2 weeks, then took none for a week or 2, then took 15mg at once, then one or 2 a day for about a week, then took 20mg at once. This is obviously abuse and the reason to stop.
Could that person now stop cold turkey, since she has been taking clonazepam for less than 8 weeks? Or would those 2 high dose days (mfg says max dose is 20/day) make it imperative to taper, and how would I go about that?
The person is on Wellbutrin XL 150mg once a day as well.
Thank you.
