Hi I am about to try effexor over the ssri's (celexa, paxil). I have responded well to paxil and luvox for ocd and anxiety from the ssri's. I read some places that effexor might be suprior to ssri in trating ocd and definitely anxiety...
has anyone that has OCD and generalized anxiety disorder and also responded well to luvox and paxil (from the ssri's) treid effexor and how did it compare with the ssri? what dosages worked best for you? I know that at higher dosages it affects dopamine. (that sounds intriguing) and i know there is a dopamine connection in ocd as well, so i am pretty hopefull about how this might work...thanks
jc
