Hi.It is quite possible that there is nobody here at this time who has experience with Keppra. Ivan Goldberg, MD once posted here asking if anyone had tried Keppra. I don't think he posted a follow-up comment about his use of this drug. You might want to check his website and see what you can find there.

A bunch of people here have tried Gabitril for both anxiety and insomnia, and perhaps as a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder. It doesn't seem to be effective enough to recommend.

Can't hurt to try it. It did a nice job of settling out some wicked agitation for me. Watch for possible cognitive impairment and spaciness. Adjust your dose so that you're taking the minimum you can take and still have the benefits you want.

Are you still taking it?

Not regularly. I took it for a few weeks recently while my body/mind were settling down. After that, I wanted to pare back my meds because I was having some eye problems. My eye problems are not a result of Keppra or any other med. It's something I was born with, but I thought that my medications might be worsening it. So...at the moment I'm not taking it, but I would be willing to use it again if needed. Keppra has a softer effect than seroquel, which I also find useful for bad anxiety/agitation. I'd used Keppra last year for a little while, but it dulled my brain and made me tired. This time I tried to keep the dose lower, which seems to have helped. I was changing the dose a little depending on how I was doing, and that seems to have worked okay.
