Last eight months have been quite interesting for me. On August 2003 I discovered by miself I have ADHD. I went to a psychiatrist to get a proper treatment but he introduced me to the bipolar world, which was a real shock for me. When I was beginning to getting used to this new diagnosis, I went to a psychoterapist, and ... surprise ! After some test it came out that I have a borderline personality disorder (plus maybe a narcisistic personality disorder !). What the hell ?! I always had the suspicion this could be the core of my problems, therefore I'm not experiencing *so much* denial about it (even if I never attempted suicide or selfmutilated).
What do borderline people find useful ? (I think I have ADHD too by the way, no stimulants in my country and no maois). Any comment appreciated.Francesco
current cocktail
Lamictal 25 mg (where is my IQ gone ?)
Zoloft 50 mg (waiting for the kick in !)
Imipramine 10 mg (it gives me a sleepy boost of energy)

sound similar to me. I was first Bipolar2, then ADHD, then while i was in the hospital my pdoc gave me four pamphlets on BPD, now she never said "this is what you have also". but since she gave me those to "look over", i'm guessing if they haven't pinned me with that it's soon on it's way.
I'm on Strattera for the ADHD, it's supposed to not be a stimulant (as compared to ritalin and adderall).
sorry if some of my med spellings are off, still learning them.
Full Cocktail:
Triliptal-2x mood stabilizer
WellbutrinXL-1x for depression
Serequel- 1x for Sleep
xanax- 3x for anxiety
Strattera- 1x for ADHDthis for the most part seems to work for me, although the serequel isn't working as well as it first did. they started me at 100 and i hate to have to start going up already. I'm concerned that i'm addapting to the medications too fast. But lets hope its just the sleep med that that's happining with.

Hi, I also have had many diagnoses. The one that traumatized me most was borderline PD. Well, about meds: Effexor 187.5 XL, Klonopin 0.5 2X daily, Lithium XL 600, Wellbtrin XL 300,and Inderal for tremors caused by the Lithium. They work ok, but I am still very moody.
Tuesday I start a a program for borderlines called DBT. terrics
