Hi people
I've had a lot of things happen in my life that feel like they are accumulating and making me fall down into a pit. I always tried to solve my own problems but it seems now I need to get some counselling.
My doc wants me to take Celexa but I am concerned about side effects...first of all while I am on it. I am in the process of losing weight and REALLY do not want anything to make my weight worse.
Most important...I took Paxil 3 years ago for 6 months , I then tapered off but I really went through hell for at least 3 months afterwards with withdrawl: tingles, zaps....a whole array of weirdness. It felt strange just walking the streets. I felt disoriented and afraid I would walk on a red or soimething because of a percieved lack of awareness.
I dont want to go through THAT again. Anyone have any advice?
ThanksSteve

Hi Steve,
You might want to try Prozac. It's excellent for depression and people rarely go through withdrawl when they stop taking it.
