jeff, what has been your experience on halcion? how long have you been on it? does it work well? my dr is willing to prescribe just about anything, but not halcion. i guess it has a scary reputation in some circles. i'm looking for a sleeping pill that works for me. thanks!

Well, I will say that it knocks me out. Most other sleep meds (otc, even at higher doses) just make me groggy. I'm prone to sedation so it's odd that regular sleep meds don't work. It's too early to talk about SE's but so far it makes me sleep and that's what matters. I take 1 to 1/2 .25 mg tabs. Good pill, IMO. Hope this helps.
