I'm a twenty three year old male who has finally got Marplan to start working after five years of med trials. I'm taking Viagra as well so I can hold an erection, however no matter how long or hard I rub, I can't have an orgasm. From what I understand this is a relatively common side effect and so I would greatly appreciate any advice about what to do and when, or what meds to take and when. I just can't have an orgasm, even if I masturbate hard for three hours and fall aleep exausted, but not relieved!
Much Love/Keep Fighting,
Matt

If the erectile function is fine but you can't orgasm, the culprit is probably serotonergic in nature. The selection of "antidotes" is limited with MAOIs. I'd try a dopamine agonist first: Dostinex (cabergoline), Requip (ropinirole), Mirapex (pramipexole), Parlodel (bromocriptine), or Symmetrel (amantadine).
