I'm looking into the tricyclic ads since I can not tolerate ssri.
Anyone taking Desipramine? Please share the positive and negative about this ad.
I read a posting on this site where it totally got rid of someones derealization. Sounds good to me!!!
Thanks.

I took desipramine with prozac for over 2 years. It worked great in relieving my unipolar depression. I do remember that it also help relieve my chronic back pain. Also, I decided to stop taking it because it caused me to gain over 30lbs and sweat all the time which was great in the winter but brutal in the summer. Hope this helps.
