I dont know what to say, i am new here and new to anxiety, i am sure someone can help you, there are no tests to proove the doctors wrong or to proove you wrong, so be it try what ever you can, i think effexor realeses(sp) seritonin and norphadine, correct me if i am wrong, with it being 3 yrs ago, i am a little sceptic unless you have taken meds after to try and correct the problem, maybe you shouldve explained this to the doctor as soon as you took that many. i can understand that you wanted to feel as high as your freinds, do you think they might ve spiked you along with you taken all the effexor as you did? you might ve suffered from seritonin syndrome? just a thought, i have no clue what i am on about, just hope that someone can help you.

Effexor is an SNRI, it blocks the reputake of serotonin and norepinephrine, thus increasing brain availability.

Yes, when taking incorrectly, any drug has the potential to hurt you. Taking too much of a drug could theoretically dammage the brain.

The brain has the ability to regenerate and repair itself, however this takes pressure (in the form of exercise, the right meds, and proper nutrition) and time.

Best of Luck

P.S. Are you adding folic acid supplements to your meds yet ?? Do it. 1 mg of folic acid. Can't hurt.

A very good brain food.
