Hi Everyone,I am just switched from prozac to zoloft. I was on prozac for a long time and after a wash out period of two weeks I began to take zoloft 50mg. My sex was the same as I was on prozac at this dosage of zoloft. But when I increased it to 100mg a day strange things happen. This is the fifth day and already I notice an increase in sexual desire and intensified orgasms. Is there anybody in this board with an experience similar to this? Or can anyone explain this to me? Zoloft is supposed to decrease sexual desire. But quite paradoxically it it helps me in sex. I have heard zoloft has some dopaminergic properties at higher doses. Could it be the reason. But 100mg is not that high. I am really happy to have such a nice mood and sex lift, but will this effect poop out?

In reply to Zoloft and increased sexuality Can anyone explain?, posted by HIBA on December 6, 2003, at 2:55:30
No, I can't explain. But, I would be enjoying the heck out of that. Oh, you are lucky. I hope it lasts.
