Benzo Withdrawal

Has anyone here heard of using Benadryl to break the benzodiazepine habit? I'm addicted to benzos and I'd like to quit, but every evening I start to get the heebie jeebies and have to pop a few alprazolams to get rid of that awful feeling. Can Benadryl be used in conjunction with tapering? Anyone had any luck?

I've never heard of anyone using Benadryl, but I did come across a really excellent site last week that I think might help you.
