Am I right here?
1. Nardil + Zyprexa- At 2.5mg Zyprexa will act as an serotonin and dopamine agonist, therby increasing levels of both neurotransmitters. Working WITH Nardil. Or is there more to this?
2. Nardil + Amisulpride- At 50mg Amisulpride will increase levels of dopamine only. Working WITH Nardil.
Am I correct?
Anyone want to add any comments on these combos?- had any experience with them?
Thankyou Ladies and Gentleman,Ace.

Dear Gentleman Ace,
My symptoms include non-restorative sleep and avoidant personality.
During the middle of trialing 50mg amisulpride for several years, I included a six month trial of Nardil for about six months at up to 75mg.
The amisulpride improved my talkativeness very slightly, but noticable by others.
Adding the Nardil caused nothing but adverse effects... constipation, waking every 2 hours at night, very light sleeping as if in a semi-wakeful trance.
I just finished trialing Sinemet with modest improvements in daytime wakefulness. I will put it on my "keepers" list.
When it arrives in the mail I will begin a trial of Parnate.
After reading of Claytons results with Paxil and Remeron, I am thinking that a combination of Paxil (or my preference for Prozac) along with Remeron and Sinemet might be a real good choice for either himself or I.
Good Luck.

> Ace.I'd go with the amisulpride, Ace. I'm biased, though, because zyprexa knocks the tar out of me... I found amisulpride far more mood elevating, and along with moclobemide, even more so. That's obviously not the same as Nardil, though. I can say this, Nardil + Geodon = WOW! I'm not sure if that was a healthy wow for me or not, but it was fun nonetheless.

Hey Jon!,I believe Nardil + Amisulpride will blow my mind!
Amisulpride made you feel motivated didn't it?
And it killed your social phobia?
So, did you become more talkative/loving with others? I'm SURE this feeling is dopamine related...
Take Care, bro,Ace.

> Amisulpride made you feel motivated didn't it?
It's been awhile, but as I recall, it felt similar to having a beer. A little relaxing, a little stimulating, and a little warm and fuzzy. It motivated me in that it boosted my mood, but I can't say it had a huge effect on motivation. It certainly didn't cause a lack of motivation, though.
> And it killed your social phobia?
I could see how it could be useful as an adjunct for SP, but for me, it wasn't very helpful by itself.
> So, did you become more talkative/loving with others? I'm SURE this feeling is dopamine related...
The drug feels dopaminergic and GABAergic to me, but I don't think it effects GABA. As a stimulant, it's more subtle and anxiolytic than most. That was my experience of it, anyhow.
Good Luck,
Jon :)p.s. If you try Nardil + Amisulrpide, let us know how it goes!

Getting my rocks off, or taking moclobemide + amisulpride??? Well, both feel pretty good... :)
In all seriousness, moclobemide seemed to boost amisulrpide's effect on mood. Possibly due to the MAO-B inhibition, but I once emailed Dr. Liebowitz about this, and he didn't think moclobemide had enough of an effect on MAO-B to matter. Regardless, the two were definitely somewhat synergistic.
I once compared amisulpride to sulpiride because it is so much cheaper, but all it did was knock me out. The bottom line for me when it comes to amisulpride is that it's not effective enough to justify the cost, and it seemed to get less effective with time. In its defense, that's my experience with most drugs.
Jon :)
