I currently take a small dose of Zoloft, 37.5 mgs. to stop the obsessive thoughts/anxiety in my head. It just gives me that coping ability and things don't bother me that normally would. However, I want off it due to weight gain. I'm looking for alternatives. I can't do another SSRI, I've tried them all. Pdoc won't do benzos on a regular basis. She is suggesting Seroquel. I have tried it before, made me too sleepy. I am considering it another go possibly. Will Seroquel give me the same effect as the Zoloft I am taking. Or does anyone have another idea of a med with this ability? Thanks!

Sure: Clomipramine (Anafranil) is a great drug for your type of symptoms...alos, MAOIs can work great too.
