I was reading a book about pyschiatric drugs the other night that was written
in 2002. In it was a chapter about up and comming AD's, one listed was called
Prozac 2. I was supposed to be one of the isolated osomers of prozac, kind of
like how Lexapro is an isolated isomer of Celexa. Has anyone heard about this
drug? Was it dropped or still being tested maybe??? Just trying to find any
info I can. Thanks!

I remember reading an article a while back that said Lilly had decided that they would not continue working on Prozac 2. And according to this article it was speculated that by releasing the new and improved Prozac 2, they were in a way, admitting to some of the side-effects that had caused Prozac to get some bad publicity in the past. They feared it could possibly lead to more lawsuits and/or recover old lawsauits.
Too bad really.
