Ritalin interactions ?

Posted by Francesco on October 21, 2003, at 6:26:06

Sorry for re-posting but I didn't get any answer and I read something like two hundred posts and didn't find anything : )

My question are:

Is it safe to take benzos with Ritalin ? (For ex. if you have trouble sleeping)

If so which is the best benzo to associate with ?

What about alcohol ?

Last but not least: is out there any Ritalin user who has *not* expierenced introvertion problems ?

Thanks for helping : )

As a matter of factly, the 2 are frequently Rxed together(that is,stims and benzos).I take Dexedrine and Prozac, along with Xanax. The meds mix just fine with me.I can,t write the medical reason they are given out at the same time, but it,s sorta ,like, helpin to take the mixture and equalling each other out,I guess. That,s how it does me,anyway.I think it wise to leave alcohol out of the scene. My brother mixed beer and Ritalin(he,s got ADD,too)and he,ll get really looped! He scares other family members by the way it makes him act.He.s done some strange stuff off of that mixture.Don,t know bout the introversion.Festus

Yes it is ok to take those together just dont take one then the other, what i mean is dont take ritalin then benzo's then ritalin then benzo's.As far as the best benzo I dont think it would matter. Also dont mix ritalin with weed it makes your heart beat super fast.
