Whew Doggie! I don't want to experience that again. My tummy was majorly upset but it was the mind stuff that was the worst. Mind noise, confusion, dizziness, thought I was going crazy. I'm glad I experienced it though, so I'll be extra careful to taper off slowly when I do have to stop taking Effexor. I'm on Non-XR Effexor, 100mg 2x a day, total 200mg daily.

> KDi in Texas<<<<<<<<<Sorry you had to experience the "discontinuation syndrome". It can be extremely frightening and very uncomfortable. One would think that after 4 "discontinuation syndrome" experiences that I would never, ever forget a dose, occassionally I do and suffer I do. :0 AnneL
