Okay, folks. I rarely have side effects from my meds, and my body reacts so poorly to stress that it's hard to tell what is med-related and what's just stress-related, or if it even matters!
Doc increased my Zoloft from 50/50 to 75/75 about 3 weeks ago, and I've been having frequent nausea, daily headache (which I had before the increase, though they did get better for a brief - several weeks - time), and vision disturbances. I've always had a sleepiness problem in the daytime and unrestful sleep at night, and I see a sleep doc on Friday this week about that, but I'm feeling a bit spacey right now. I also can barely stand to wear my glasses because my eyes hurt, and it's worse with my glasses on than with them off. I am only slightly nearsighted, so it's not necessary that I wear my glasses, but it's unusual that I can barely stand to wear them because they make me feel worse.
I ride the bus to work every morning and home in the evening and I used to sit in a side facing seat in the front and turn my head to look forward, but now it makes me somewhat dizzy to look forward, unless I am sitting facing forward.
And, as others have mentioned, I'm having that trailing effect with my eyes, as though they're not keeping up with the movement of my head. I can wave my hand in front of my eyes and it sort of leaves a blur behind it. It's very weird. Last time I had this vision trouble was when coming off of Effexor.
BTW - I also take 20mgs Geodon, 150mgs Wellbutrin SR, and 400mgs Lamictal.
Thanks for any insight.
Penny
