Sorry about all of these strattera questions, but, what is the effect on serotonin?

i'm not 100% positive, but i'm pretty sure Strattera has no direct effect at all on serotonin (i.e., its effects on norepinephrine may effect serotonin indirectly of course, but theres no direct effect).

There isn't any effect on serotonin. The new rage is to combine Strattera for norepinephrin with a serotonin reuptake inhibitor if you need that. Serzone is the one mentioned most, I've seen posts from people on this combo who love it.
Statterra is very norepiephrin specific- it was developed for ADD to get people off of speed, which has it's own nasty problems. It's also a nice anti depressent, I take it and am liking it.missliz

I am thinking about asking my doctor to let me try Strattera in addition with Lexapro or some tolerable SSRI, are you taking Strattera with an SSRI???
