Anyone have anemia depression?

I've had a pretty complete workup with a great endocrinologist. He found that I have mild anemia - or my hemoglobin levels have been consistantly low.

He wanted me to follow up with my primary care dr. about it and also mentioned he wanted to screen out any possibility of internal bleeding (?) - not sure why?

Anyway, just wondering if anyone who also has depression has been treated for anemia - if so - depression any better? worse? the same?
