I was taking 2000mg Keppra (I also take 300mg Lamictal and 5mg Selegilene).
I lowered my dose of Keppra from 2000mg to 1000mg and I am not near as tired. My tiredness almost seemed like depression. But now I have more energy. It's been a big difference.
Of course for some people it might be activating--this is just how it affected me.
I have lost quite a bit of weight...and I really think Keppra has something to do with it (possibly Lamictal but I don't think so). I'm talking at least a pound or two or more per week. It seems the Keppra decreases my appetite...which makes sense because it decreases my interest in much of anything...
I think the drug helps with my racing thoughts and aggression. I will keep taking it as long as my doc says...but not that high of a dose...
This is the end of the thread.
