Rash.

Posted by starlight on April 7, 2003, at 19:16:40

Hi All,
Been away for a while. Doing well - thankfully! Except I seem to be getting a rash. I noticed about a week ago when I took my robe off to get in the shower that the skin on my torso had a small reddish rash, but it went away. This morning I got up and noticed that my right inner thigh has one and now it's my left one too. I'm thinking maybe heat rash? Only it's not that hot (northern CA) and I've never had that before - and there's not much friction between the skin on my thighs. Quit laughing!
I've been on 900 mgs of Trilepal for about 6 months and recently - about 2 &1/2 months ago added 75 mgs of lamical incrementally.

I'm doing really well on this combo, so I would hate to have to quit. Anyone had any experiences with adverse reactions to these drugs skin rash wise? What are the early signs?
Thanks.
S

Hi John,
The rash is getting better. It's actually almost gone. It really kind of scared me the way it went down my legs. I had several glasses of wine the day before, so maybe it had something to do with that. I just hope it's nothing, I really am doing so much better on these meds that it's remarkable, so I don't want to have to go off of them. I like the effect of calmness that I get from the lamictal.
