Neurotransmitter systems - good read

Posted by Michael Bell on March 8, 2003, at 22:24:48

This link goes to one of the best, easy to understand discussions of the neurotransmission process that I've ever come across. Despite the htm address, it's not about bipolar disorder.

I especially love the minibus and coffee shop analogies

Michael-GREAT SITE Thanks.
I especially liked "Others that come into play with some side effects are acetylcholine, which transmits orders to the muscles, and histamine, which has a lot to do with allergies but also affects sleep". What many (6) choices the molecules have! It is AMAZING the info on Dopamine and GABA.
Thanks, Kristen-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
