Okay, I'm sure plenty of people think it helped them, and maybe it did. Yet I was on it for 5 months, at 300mg, and never felt any differently. And 300mg is a ton.

It made me not orgasm, and sweat profusely when I tried, which was awful because when I don't I can't concentrate at all, which is bad for my ADD. 30% efficacy was found in one trial at MGH by Dr. Liebowitz. But it was one of those SSRI/SNRI-funded trials, you know. I don't trust any of them, all funded by drug co's and filled with over-zealous patients who can convince themselves it's working on them.

I just wanted to add that I recently asked Dr. Liebowitz about switching from Paxil to Effexor, and he told me that Effexor is somewhat less potent for SP but has fewer side-effects. My sister also has some SP and her experience agrees with this as well. Anyway...

I don't feel the slightest difference on Celexa or Effexor.

So I doubt I would feel even slightly better on Paxil.
