Hope you don't mind me butting in, I can empathise with your feelings, it has taken me about 7 years to find something that really helps.
Just before this I found a number of interesting possibilities, I posted these but nobody seemed interested, just in case you might be they were:
Sutherlandia, tryptozen, sceletium and holy basil, if you want any more info post back, if not I understand.
