I've been taking Lexapro and my hair seems to be getting thinner. Lexapro doesn't interfere with propecia does it?

All SSRIs have the possible side effect of alopecia, or hair thinning. Some will cause it in some individuals & not others. You happen to be unlucky that Lexapro is doing this to you. For others, it may be a diff SSRI that would do it.

Wellbutrin can cause hair thinning but it's not very common. I've read that between 0.1%-1.0% of people taking it have thinning hair. It's listed as a rare (as opposed to common and to infrequent) side effect. Be aware that a person can have thinning hair from others causes too such as prolonged stress, poor diet, & hormonal changes. Sometimes it's hard to figure out the root problem.
