Some of you may remember that my friend,
whom i refer to as Miss X, has recently
switched drugs from an old tricyclic to
Serzone. And that she reports being very
much relieved from the constant anxiety
that the old drug brought on daily. It is now time, to withdraw that old drug, as
they were given together at first (i think
this is the way doctors do it now), and
alas, there are some withdrawal symptoms,
like jitteriness and insomnia.I hope it passes soon; i suggested that she
cut the old drug in half (the one pill) and
withdraw from it more gradually. Do you think that
is a good idea?It will be interesting to see what Serzone is
like by itself -- it is a drug which in the
monographs at least, does not allow the concurrent
taking of benzos at all. Fortunately, it is
a pacifying drug.Squiggles
