Hi, Could anyone tell me if dextrostat is hard to get or something. I have went to get my script filled twice now once at walmart, the next time at walgreens and both times the filled it with dextroamphetamine. I have just started taking this 10mg in the morning so I was wondering if one is better than the other. The maker of the generic is barr. If anyone could help please let me know. Also has this been a good ADD med for anyone? Thanks.

Did your pdoc mark on the prescription not to fill it generic, or did you tell the pharmacist you want the brand name?

No I just gave them the script. I dont know what the doctor wrote.

From the PDR they are the same drug - BUT they list different times to peak and half life???
May be absorbed at different rates?? May be measured using different protocol? Anyone know?
