Bromocriptine: Libido enhancing effects

Hi everyone,

I don't know whether this is a coincidence. I tried bromocriptine (Parlodel) overnight and today I feel an enhanced libido effect. Is this true with this medication? Do anybody have a similar kind of experience with this drug? I know that this is a dopaminergic drug in the class of levodopa and amantadine. Dopamine is supposed to be the key neurotransmitter responsible for libido. If my enhanced libido effect continues, I think it may be a wonderful finding for me, because so far whatever I tried to counteract the lowered libido caused by antidepressants, only made a huge disappoint in me. One day is not enough to assess a drug effect, but I hope it will continue. Any comments ?
