Gaba as component of A.D.D. treatment

Has anyone taken Gaba as a part of their A.D.D. treatment? My research has indicated that it can be effective for increasing the flow of blood to the brain. This effect can serves to calm down the mind of someone suffering from ‘ring of fire' A.D.D., thus permitting better focus.

I am interested in anything you may think relevant to note about Gaba and especially the following questions

( 1 ) How far apart should doses be spaced?
( 2 ) Did you experience any side effects?
( 3 ) Did you find that the effectiveness wore away with time?
( 4 ) What dosage were you taking Gaba in?
( 5 ) Do you have any books or websites to suggest about supplements for A.D.D.?
