Hi
I'm writing because I am now tapering off of 60mg Remeron and am to begin taking Zoloft soon. I'm on 45mg Remeron for 4 days, then 30mg, then 15mg, then 0. Is it OK to start the Zoloft right now given that I'm still at 45mg Remeron and tapering? I would wait till I'm finished tapering but I fear that I might get pretty depressed during that time, so I'd like to start the new AD right away. Has anyone had experience with this, or knows if it's OK to take both of those at the same time? Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Charlie

Most likely yes. I have interchanged
Remeron and Celexa (an SSRI like Zoloft)
many times, with and without overlap.Actually they work well together.
Just make all adjustments slowlyLinkadge
