It may well be that you have all tried this but last week instead of searching on the normal google system I clicked on groups instead and my search for cortisol information came up with a lot of references and information I had not seen before.
In particular I came across some interesting ideas about why ads may not work if you have high cortisol.
I emailed the author of one of these whose idea was that cortisol blocks serotonin , particularly in the amygdla, sadly he has not responded but there is still a mass of discussion and ideas that I had not been aware existed.
Hope this is of some benefit to someone
