Help with dopaminergic med info/studies

Posted by Jerrympls on September 6, 2002, at 23:43:45

HI all -

I talked to my doc about the possibility of adding a med like Mirapex to my anti-depressant med to help augment and he actually thought it worth a try due to my extremely resistant depression. He brought up the possibility of trying either amantadine or bromocriptine too.

I've started to gather info/studies, etc. to help better inform myself and to some degree my doc as well and was wondering if anyone out there could point me to any research/info, etc. involving these meds and depression. Also - any personal experiences would be great - positive or negative.

Thanks much
Jerry
