well...i kind of used bad judgement the other night that lead me into the hospital so my p-doc switched my meds around on me again...i was wondering if anyone knew anything about what type of stuff these meds do..he told me a little but i think its a lot for someone my age to be on..
prior to this i was on..
A.M.
adderall XR 30mg
celexa 20mg
valium 10mg(as needed)
P.M.
topamax 200mg
seroquel 200mg
ambien 10mg
sonata 15mg(when needed)and now...he changed the valium to the ativan .5mg(when needed) and took away the seroquel and added neurontin 300mg at night...i haven't taken a ativan yet...but i took the neurontin last night...and i feel strangley perky yet...i don't know how to describe it..out of focus and focused on certain things at the same time...
i dont know the side effects of neurontin but he said there werent many...well id apperciate it if anyone has any feedback...

In reply to meds with new meds...(neurontin and ativan)???, posted by alley on August 21, 2002, at 10:53:38
I took neurontin for a few months to help with mood swings, and it worked. But then my vision got very blurry until I couldn't read at all. my doc said it affects vision in certain people, so if your vision gets blurry get off of it b/c it gets worse over time b/c the med binds to the eye. of course, you might be just fine on it. i thought it worked great besides that.
