Hi,
I know there are concerns about Tegretol and MAOIs and this combo should be avoided. Does this also apply to Trileptal?
Thanks,
Jon

Tegretol is contraindicatd with MAOI use because of similarity between Teg. and tricyclic antidepressants. Trileptal doesn't have that contraindication. Also, Trileptal is primarily eliminated via the kidneys as opposed to the liver, so it shouldn't be a problem.
