This is SO damn weird. But, this is the same experience I have all the time I use a benzo. (have been for about 8+ years...same dose!) Had a CRAPPY day..poped back a 3mg dose of bromazepam (it's a bit like lorazepam...but lasts longer and the effect stays with you.), and now I feel just FINE..relaxed...smooth. I am *really* thinking about benzo monotherapy..but it's just getting my doc tor Rx it. Damn..can I freeze this moment and keep it?..lol(Kinda Happy) Jay

Doc won't give me anymore..
wish the effect made me chilled and happy-usually take 1-2 loraz..but if I take about 3 and sleep the next morning reminds me of the hypomanic state I used to get with alcohol..so potential abuse

Hi,
I'm really glad you've found a med that helps you. Why won't your doc rx it? Lots of people with panic/anxiety and depression linked to anxiety use benzo monotherapy with excellent results. I don't know where this med cocktail trend started (yes, I do, the pharm houses) but I have taken klonopin 2mg tid and xanax prn for 5+ years now I think. When I have a manic episode I have to add other meds, but for the most part this is my regime. My pdoc specializes in panic disorder so perhaps that's why I never have trouble getting my prescriptions. Again, I'm very happy for you- judy
