I have not posted here in quite a while, possibly because life has been so good. After several yeats of one antidepressant after another and sixty pounds ou weight gain, I think my pdock and I have finally found the answer, Wellbutrin SR 100mgm twice a day Topamax 200mgm and
Seroquel at bedime. For the first time in ten years I feel human again..and best of all I am loosing weight !!

Dear Maribeth,
Paxil gave me vaginal dryness and anorgasima ... does wellbutrin cause that?

It's hard for me to tell. I'am fifty-nine, post menopausal and have used a vaginal lubricant for years. Plus the other meds (Prozac, Effexor,Paxil,zyprexa and on and on and on!)messed up my sex life so badly that although I don't have a "fireworks" orgasm it something better than nothing. And besides, at my age and after the crap I've been through, its pure bliss!! Hang in there. maribeth

Meribeth, I am so glad to here you are doing so well. I have been on topamax now for about a month 100mg along with dexadrine, and the topamax seens to make me feel so stupid and angry, does it not bother you in this way? I use to be on the wellbutrin and liked it so much better than this dex. I'm really thinking about switching back, only thing it cause me to gain weight. Please let me know what you think. By the way the wellbutrin way great for my sex life:) Opal

As I noted before re: your medical hospital stay
on your last Wellbutrin experience, it also seems that wellbutrin may
interact with amphetamine as well as prozac
(you had mentioned you were taking dexedrine).See the post below.
