Nardil Vs. Parnate-ejaculatory disfunction

Off of Nardil, reason being ejaculatory difficulty, (however no problems with getting an erection)I am contemplating getting on Parnate, can anyone tell me if this is a good idea?
How many have been on Parnate and have had any sexual dysfunction? As opposed to Nardil and have had any sexual dysfunction? Because I was on nardil while I could get it up, all I had were ejaculatory difficulties, will I have the same effects on Parnate? Please correspond.

cirrus6000,

Have you talked to your doctor about augmentation or antidotes for this problem with Nardil? If Nardil worked for the social phobia, you might not want to give up on it so easily. Have you tried Viagra? My psydoc says this works for anorgasmia for many of her patients.

p.s. Maybe you should post this same question one more time, just for the fun of it? ;)

> Thats Social Anxiety Disorder for all you Seasonal Affliction Disorder or whatever its called people....anyways I was wondering if there is anything I can do about my ejaculatory problems I just got off of Nardil, reason being ejaculatory difficulty, (however no problems with getting an erection)I am contemplating getting on Parnate, can anyone tell me if this is a good idea?

> If you are just going to settle for only ejaculatory difficulties, Parnate won't be much different. Hell, not having both together is like not having either one with the SSRIs and Maois. They got to make a damn serotonin potent drug(not a Serzone or a Remeron) that are devoid of the Sex life destruction. Believe me, the Companies are working on it. Oh well there is always Viagra, which will bring down the Hypertension from the Parnate.. Hope some of what I said makes sense...TR

I haven't taken either drug,
but if memory serves me correct at least a few
people have reported a successful improvement in
anorgasmia when switching from Nardil to Parnate.
