Does klonopin have seratonin propertys. I read in a pdr book it has 5th properties. Why i ask is because i heard xanax can cause depression.

I have seen others on here mention that Klonopin affects serotonin, but as to whether an individual benzo will produce depression in a person is a matter of how the drug affects an individual, in my opinion. I felt depressed on Klonopin, but have never felt depressed on Xanax.

I agree it is very individual.
I am very sensitive to benzos. I take one to counter the overactivating effects of effexor so I can fall asleep. But I have to take a very tiny amount or I either feel groggy in the morning, or even start to feel a bit depressed. But I have read many accounts here from people who don't have this experience.
