In doing some research on St. Johns Wort, I just found this link that I thought I would share:
http://www.adbiotk.com/wort.html
Don't be fooled by seeing a sports nutrition advertisement at the top of the page. If you scroll about two pages down, you'll see the following reference with the information to follow:
Authors: Linde K, Ramirez G, Mulrow CD, Pauls A, Weidenhammer W,
Melchart D
Title: St John's wort for depression--an overview and
meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials
British Medical Journal 313(7052), 253-258 (1996)Enjoy!

PS Misty Trivia: 1972 Movie "Play Misty" featured Roberta Flack's song "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face".

Hi Misty,Thanks for the links.
I wish more information was known about SJW.
Personally I think it can be effective but has
been dogged by studies using it at sub-therapeutic doeses and bad quality control. Also, I don't think the pharmaceutical companies would want a well funded study to show that it worked (conspiracy theory). How are you feeling these days?
Please stay in touch.
bye bye,

> Thank you, Misty. This is exactly the kind of information that I was looking for. (Only just stumbled upon your post.) If you hadn't given your advice about scrolling down below the advertisement, I would never have discovered the article.Alara
