I would like to know if anyone has tried Serzone (5-HT2 blocker) against SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction? Or is there another effective substance?
Thanks!

Hi Huggave,
What else are you taking besides the SSRI? I didn't find much sexual relief from Serzone, but was also taking Ativan and 10mg of Elavil. After cutting out my afternoon dose of Ativan, my desire peaked again after many years of feeling like a dud. This probably won't help u much, but I had no desire at ALL on SSRI's.

Yes, I've tried Serzone two different times and found that it didn't really do anything for me. Each time was an attempt to address the libido problems associated with an SSRI (Zoloft). I tried it with Zoloft and without. With Zoloft it didn't really help, and with Serzone alone I started to "unglue." Needless to say the Zoloft is more important to me! Right now I'm Zoloft with Wellbutrin XR, but that's not doing what I'd hoped either. Perhaps I've come to the end of the road with Zoloft (9 years!). I'm keenly interested in the Celexa derivative coming out this summer(?) called Lexapro(escitalopram). I'm wondering if that will be easier on the sexual side effects.
This is the end of the thread.
