Hi all,
I'm on paroxetine from 15 days.
I haven't felt any right effect yet, only side effects like dizzyness and drowsiness.
If it works, how long does it take?
How long could i go on till understand that it does not work for me?
Thanks for your help

Most ADs take 2-6 weeks to work. Its a very
individual matter. Some people take longer.
Usually after week 8 the chances of getting
a response if you haven't pushed the medicine
to a healthy dose are getting low.-John

It may depend what you are taking it for as well. A recent study for treating social anxiety with SSRIs showed a significant number of people as non-responders at week 8 (paxil in particular), but as responders at week 12.
I think many people on this board, myself included, may switch some of their meds far too quickly.
