meds interacting with X?

I am on effexor 300 a day. my pill pusher just gave me zoloft, and i am on neurotin. nothing is working though. i heard ecstasy was used as an AD, will X interfere bad with my meds?

Well, I wouldn't say it is a good idea. I don't by into drug scare stuff, but extacy has someexceptions. Especially if you are suffering from depression or anxiety, I wouldn't chance it.

Not to scare you, but what I read in Noonday Demon is pretty alarming and has stuck with me. Andrew Solomon was told by a psychiatrist that what X does to your serotonin system would mean that if he were on a couple of drugs now, years later he'd be on ten and that "it may destroy your capacity to feel happiness" (p.233-4). Too bad, I'd love to try it, but I don't think it's worth the risk.

SSRI's and ecstacy don't mix. The ADs will totally ruin any feeling you might get from X.
